Primary Grades: (Grades 1 - 5)

At Bridgeport Catholic Academy, our Primary Grades program (Grades 1–5) provides a strong academic foundation while nurturing each child’s faith, character, and love of learning. Students engage in a well-rounded curriculum that includes reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, all designed to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Instruction is purposeful and engaging, with opportunities for hands-on learning, collaboration, and meaningful discussion.

Rooted in our Catholic identity, students participate in weekly Mass, daily prayer, and religion classes that guide them in growing in faith and service to others. Specialty classes such as Spanish, Music, and Humanities enrich the academic experience and allow students to explore their talents and creativity.

Our teachers create supportive and structured classrooms where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. By fostering responsibility, respect, and confidence, the Primary Grades program prepares students for continued success in middle school and beyond.
