We Are... BCA

Bridgeport Catholic Academy has provided the very best in Catholic education since 1985. BCA offers rigorous instruction in the pre-K 3 thru 8th grade levels in Chicago’s Bridgeport community.

Our early childhood program for Pre-K 3 & 4 and Kindergarten provides a nurturing environment promoting growth of the whole child through developmentally-appropriate materials.

Students in grades 1 through 4 are in self-contained classrooms. There is a strong focus on developing independent learners. Students are expected to work cooperatively to foster their interpersonal skills in all academic areas.

The program for students in grades 5 through 8 is fully departmentalized with an emphasis on preparing students for high school. Critical thinking and communication skills are fostered to prepare individuals to become life-long learners.
