Accelerated Reader is designed to support and
encourage independent reading practice.
Students will continue to receive instruction as
a class from their textbooks and learn to apply
the skills they learn to books read
independently. Each student's individual
reading level will be determined by his or her
teacher. This allows students to make book
choices on their appropriate level.

Click "Parent"

Use the "Quick Search" tab
to look up book titles and authors of books
for which you need a level.

Use the "Advanced Search"
tab to find books on a specific level.

First, choose the "Interest Level" for your
child. This is based on age/grade
level.
■ Next, choose
the "ATOS Book Level" by inserting your
child's book level range.
■
You can also use "Advanced Search" to find
books about specific topics or genres.

Use the
"Collections" tab to access a list of Award
Winning books.
While making selections, you can place titles in
your online AR BookBag, print the list, and take
it to your library or bookstore.
