Bridgeport Catholic Academy lost a dear friend and dedicated supporter when Henry Palmissano passed away suddenly on February 25, 2006. There was no job Henry would not do for our school and our children.  He worked hard to guarantee that Bridgeport Catholic Academy would succeed as an excellent school.  He dedicated himself to ensure that a Catholic education was available to all students and that our school would be a vital part of the community. Henry was active in various organizations of Bridgeport Catholic Academy, well after his children graduated.  He had served as Bridgeport Catholic Academy school board president.  He ran the school bingo for many years including keeping all the books until his untimely death.  He also helped run the annual fish fry, super raffle and candy drive.  Henry was the driving force for Bridgeport Catholic Academy at its inception back in 1985 until his death. More important Henry was a mentor and example for all our students on how to live a Christian life.  He was a dedicated husband, father and friend.
